# Taraxa Studio

> Taraxa Studio is a software company based in Indonesia. Tagline: "A Simple Software". We build focused tools for writers, pixel artists, and type designers. Founded by Ribhararnus Pracutian.

The name comes from Taraxacum, the Latin name for the dandelion, which is also the studio's mark.

- [NovelOS Studio](https://novelos.studio): The operating system for storytellers. An offline-first app to plan, write, and publish a novel. Runs on Windows and macOS, plus Android and iOS as an installable web app (PWA). Price: $45 one-time, lifetime personal license. Features: offline-first with files on your own device and portable .novelos archives; a calm editor with chapters, typewriter scrolling, and vanishing mode; plot canvas and timeline; character dossiers linked to the manuscript; genealogy (family trees built by dragging relations); cartography (maps drawn from a description with named, searchable locations); lore and chronology attached to scenes; AI character creation and portraits that keep one art direction across a series (optional, on your own API key); optional AI revision on your own API key (BYOK); export to DOCX, EPUB, PDF, HTML, Markdown, RTF, and plain text; word goals and trackers; interface in 23 languages.

Bézier drawing with spacing and kerning; multiple masters and variable fonts; OpenType feature generation; opens and converts OTF, TTF, WOFF, WOFF2, UFO, and Glyphs files; color fonts, hinting, proofing sheets; specimen pages and license files.
